The market resolves on Jun 5, 2026, after the lowest temperature in Seoul on June 5 has been recorded and verified. Resolution is determined by official temperature data from a designated meteorological source, typically the Korea Meteorological Administration or an equivalent authoritative weather station in Seoul. The outcome is objective and based on actual recorded measurements, ensuring clear settlement. Traders should confirm the exact data source and measurement methodology specified in the market's terms before trading.
Major weather pattern shifts, seasonal forecasts, and atmospheric anomalies can significantly move the market. Tropical systems, monsoon onset timing, or high-pressure systems affecting East Asia in early June will influence trader expectations. Updated meteorological models from global weather centers typically shift odds when they show material changes to temperature forecasts. Broader climate signals, such as sea-surface temperatures or jet-stream positioning, may also drive repricing. As June 5 approaches, intraday weather updates and real-time atmospheric data will create final volatility in the market.
