The market resolves on Jun 3, 2026, after the lowest temperature in Seoul on June 3 has been recorded and verified. Resolution depends on official temperature data from Seoul's meteorological station or a designated reference source. The outcome is determined by comparing the actual recorded low temperature against the predefined thresholds or ranges specified in the market contract. Once the data is confirmed and the winning outcome is determined, traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout.
Several factors can shift market odds for Seoul's lowest temperature on June 3. Major weather pattern changes, such as the arrival of cold fronts, high-pressure systems, or monsoon activity, will influence trader expectations. Updated meteorological forecasts from regional weather agencies often trigger repricing as new data becomes available. Seasonal climate anomalies or unusual atmospheric conditions reported in the weeks leading up to June 3 may also move the market. Real-time weather updates and model consensus shifts closer to the event date typically drive the most significant price movements.
