Major weather pattern shifts, updated seasonal forecasts, and real-time atmospheric data releases can significantly move odds in this market. Tropical storm systems, heat waves, or cold fronts approaching the Korean peninsula would trigger repricing as traders adjust their bets. Official meteorological agency updates and international weather model consensus changes also drive trading activity. Additionally, historical temperature anomalies for early July in Seoul may prompt traders to reassess tail-risk probabilities. As the event date approaches, intraday weather updates and short-range forecasts become increasingly influential, often causing sharp price swings in the final days before resolution.
