Six distinct temperature ranges are defined, each corresponding to a different market resolution. If the minimum temperature is less than 51°F, the '50° or below' market resolves positively. If it falls between 51°F and 52°F, the '51° to 52°' market resolves. Similarly, ranges of 53-54°F, 55-56°F, and 57-58°F each have their respective markets. Any temperature above 58°F resolves the '59° or above' market. All markets use The Weather Company as the exclusive source for temperature data, with preliminary readings subject to potential adjustments.
