Description

This set of markets assesses the likelihood of specific temperature ranges in Newark on a particular future date. Participants can evaluate how probable it is that the lowest temperature on that day falls within any of several defined intervals, based on a single authoritative weather data source.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the minimum temperature recorded at Newark (CLIEWR) on October 24, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Each market corresponds to a specific temperature range: below 34°F, 34-35°F, 36-37°F, 38-39°F, 40-41°F, or above 41°F. The Weather Company’s data is the sole authority for resolution. Preliminary readings may differ from final values due to rounding or conversion, so caution is advised. If the Exchange identifies a material error in the initial data before expiration, it may delay resolution until a corrected value is published or until the expiration date, whichever comes first. If data remains unavailable by expiration, all markets resolve to the last fair price determined by the Exchange.
