The event resolves based on the minimum temperature recorded at Los Angeles (CLILAX) on August 17, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Six distinct temperature ranges are defined, each corresponding to a different market outcome. If the minimum temperature is less than 61°F, the '60° or below' market resolves to Yes. If it falls between 61°F and 62°F, the '61° to 62°' market resolves to Yes, and this pattern continues for the ranges of 63-64°F, 65-66°F, and 67-68°F. For any temperature above 68°F, the '69° or above' market resolves to Yes. All markets use The Weather Company as the sole, authoritative source for temperature data, ensuring consistency despite variations across other weather services. Only one market will resolve to Yes, corresponding to the actual temperature range achieved.
