This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded at the London City Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 9 Jun '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the lowest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the London City Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/gb/london/EGLC. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
The market resolves on Jun 9, 2026, after June 9 concludes. Resolution is determined by the official lowest temperature recorded in London on that date. The specific measurement source and methodology are defined in the market's terms to ensure objective, verifiable settlement. Once the data is confirmed and published, the winning outcome token is paid out at full value while losing tokens expire worthless. This structure ensures traders have a clear, enforceable endpoint for their positions.
Major weather pattern shifts, seasonal anomalies, and atmospheric blocking systems can significantly alter London's expected low temperature. Updates from extended-range forecasts, changes in jet stream positioning, and anomalous sea-surface temperatures in the Atlantic may trigger repricing. Real-time weather model consensus changes, tropical or polar air mass movements, and historical analogs to similar June dates will influence trader positioning. As June 9 approaches, short-range forecasts become more reliable and precise, typically causing tighter odds and reduced uncertainty in market prices.
