The event resolves based on the minimum temperature recorded at Chicago (CLIMDW) on August 23, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Six distinct temperature ranges are defined, each corresponding to a different market outcome. If the minimum temperature is less than 56°F, the '55° or below' market resolves to Yes. If it falls between 56°F and 57°F, the '56° to 57°' market resolves to Yes, and so on for each subsequent range up to '64° or above' for temperatures greater than 63°F. All markets use The Weather Company as the sole source for official temperature data, with participants advised that preliminary readings may differ from the final reported value due to rounding or conversion discrepancies. No other weather services are considered authoritative for resolution purposes.
