The event resolves based on the maximum temperature recorded at Washington DC (CLIDCA) on October 3, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Six separate outcome ranges are defined: 68° or below, 69-70°, 71-72°, 73-74°, 75-76°, and 77° or above. If the recorded temperature falls within any of these ranges, the corresponding market resolves to Yes, with all other markets resolving to No. All outcomes share identical secondary rules regarding data verification and error handling. Preliminary data may be subject to rounding or conversion differences, and the Exchange reserves the right to delay expiration if a material error is identified in the initial publication. If no valid data remains available by the expiration date, all markets will resolve to the last fair price determined by Kalshi.
