The event resolves based on the maximum temperature recorded at Washington DC (CLIDCA) on August 20, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Six temperature ranges are defined: 83° or below, 84° to 85°, 86° to 87°, 88° to 89°, 90° to 91°, and 92° or above. If the recorded temperature falls within any of these ranges, the corresponding market resolves to Yes. All markets except the relevant one resolve to No. The Weather Company’s data is the sole authority for determining the outcome, and users should note that other weather sources may show different values but are not considered official for resolution purposes.
