Frequently asked questions

The dashboard tracks real-time odds and historical price data for the highest temperature prediction in Warsaw on June 11 on Polymarket. It displays the current probability of each temperature outcome, 24-hour trading volume of $91,890, and cumulative liquidity. Users can monitor how odds shift as new weather forecasts emerge and traders adjust positions. The interface shows the top-weighted outcome and allows filtering by temperature ranges to identify where market conviction concentrates.

Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect aggregated trader expectations and often diverge from traditional meteorological forecasts. While weather institutes publish deterministic or probabilistic temperature ranges, prediction markets price in broader uncertainty and real-time sentiment shifts. Comparing Polymarket odds to official forecasts from Poland's Institute of Meteorology and Water Management reveals whether traders are pricing in more extreme outcomes or showing higher confidence in moderate temperatures than experts do.

The market resolves at Jun 11, 2026, after the highest temperature recorded in Warsaw on June 11 is finalized. Resolution depends on official temperature data from a designated meteorological source, which is typically Poland's national weather authority or a recognized international standard. Once the actual high temperature is confirmed, the corresponding outcome contract is settled at 1.0 and all others at 0.0, determining payouts for traders holding winning shares.

Major weather pattern shifts, updated seasonal forecasts, and atmospheric pressure systems over Central Europe will drive odds movements. Sudden cold fronts or heat domes predicted by meteorological models can trigger sharp repricing. Real-time weather alerts, solar activity anomalies, or volcanic events affecting atmospheric conditions may also influence trader positioning. As June 11 approaches, short-range forecasts become more reliable, typically narrowing the range of plausible outcomes and concentrating liquidity around the most likely temperature band.
