Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect real-money trader conviction and often diverge from traditional meteorological forecasts. While weather analysts publish point estimates and confidence intervals based on atmospheric models, prediction markets aggregate dispersed information from thousands of participants with financial incentive to be accurate. Comparing the implied probabilities from Polymarket to consensus forecasts from national weather services or climate models can reveal where traders see model bias or where new information has shifted expectations. This comparison helps identify potential mispricings or emerging consensus shifts.

The market resolves on Jun 1, 2026, after the highest temperature in Warsaw on June 1 has been officially recorded. Resolution hinges on identifying the peak temperature reached during that calendar day in Warsaw. The specific measurement station, time window, and data source used to determine the official high are defined in the market's terms. Major weather pattern shifts, seasonal forecasts, and atmospheric circulation changes can significantly move odds before June 1. Updates from European meteorological centers, changes in jet stream positioning, and anomalies in sea surface temperatures in nearby regions may trigger repricing. As the event date approaches, short-range forecasts become more reliable and can cause sharp moves. Real-time weather developments in early June, including high-pressure systems or cold fronts, will influence final market prices. Traders should monitor extended forecasts and seasonal outlooks to anticipate shifts in market conviction around Warsaw's peak temperature.
