Over time, prediction markets have proven competitive with or superior to expert forecasts on many events. Comparing the odds here to published weather models for July 10 in Tel Aviv can reveal where traders see model uncertainty or systematic bias.
This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, once the highest temperature recorded in Tel Aviv on July 10 is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by comparing the actual peak temperature against the specific threshold defined in the market. Once the event occurs and the data is confirmed, the market settles automatically and traders receive payouts based on their positions. No further trading occurs after resolution.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before Jul 10, 2026. Updated weather models or forecasts from meteorological agencies often trigger repricing as traders adjust expectations. Seasonal climate patterns, atmospheric pressure systems, and historical temperature records for that date in Tel Aviv all influence trader positioning. Real-time weather developments—such as unexpected heat waves or cooling systems moving into the region—can cause sharp moves. Additionally, major geopolitical or environmental events affecting regional climate could prompt traders to reassess their bets. Close to resolution day, intraday forecasts and live weather updates typically drive the most volatile trading.
