Traders buy and sell shares in outcomes they believe will occur, with prices reflecting the collective probability assigned by the market. Liquidity and volume determine how easily traders can enter or exit positions. Price discovery happens continuously as new weather data and seasonal forecasts influence participant expectations.
The market resolves on Jun 7, 2026, after the highest temperature in Singapore on June 7, 2026 has been recorded and verified. Resolution is determined by official meteorological data from Singapore's national weather authority. The outcome is the single highest temperature reading reported for that calendar day. Once the data is confirmed and the resolution criteria are met, the market settles and winning positions are paid out according to the outcome that occurred.
Major weather pattern shifts, monsoon onset timing, and tropical storm activity in Southeast Asia could significantly move odds. Updated seasonal forecasts from meteorological agencies, El Niño or La Niña developments, and real-time atmospheric pressure systems will influence trader expectations. As June 7 approaches, daily weather models become more precise, typically tightening the range of expected temperatures. Urban heat island effects and local pollution levels may also be priced in by informed traders monitoring Singapore-specific climate data.
