The market resolves on Jun 1, 2026, after the highest temperature in Seoul on June 1 has been recorded. Resolution is determined by the official temperature data for that day, typically sourced from Seoul's primary meteorological station or the Korea Meteorological Administration. The outcome is binary or categorical depending on how the market was structured—either confirming which temperature range occurred or settling to the exact recorded high.
Major weather pattern shifts, seasonal anomalies, or updated long-range forecasts from meteorological agencies could significantly move market odds. Atmospheric pressure systems, jet stream positioning, and tropical cyclone activity in the Western Pacific may influence Seoul's June 1 temperature. Additionally, historical climate data releases, El Niño or La Niña updates, and real-time weather model consensus changes in late May will likely trigger trading activity as the event date approaches and forecasts become more precise.
