Description

This event tracks the highest temperature reached in San Diego on a specific date in the future, using data from an official weather source. Participants can assess various temperature ranges to predict weather conditions for that day.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the maximum temperature recorded in San Diego (CLISAN) on September 21, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Six distinct temperature ranges are defined, each corresponding to a separate market that will resolve to 'Yes' if the recorded temperature falls within that range. All markets share identical secondary rules regarding data verification and error handling. The Weather Company’s data is the sole authority, and preliminary readings may differ from final values due to rounding or conversion. If a material error is identified in the initial publication before the market’s expiration, the exchange may delay resolution until a corrected value is released or until the expiration date, whichever comes first. If no valid data exists at expiration, all markets resolve to the last fair price determined by the exchange. The 'Final' status on The Weather Company’s platform is informational and does not guarantee data accuracy or exempt the market from these error-resolution procedures.
