This event tracks the highest temperature recorded in San Diego on a specific date in the future, using data from a designated weather provider. Participants can speculate on whether temperatures will fall within certain ranges, helping to gauge expected weather conditions for planning and analysis.
The event resolves based on the maximum temperature recorded in San Diego (CLISAN) on October 22, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Six separate outcome ranges are defined: 67° or below, 68-69°, 70-71°, 72-73°, 74-75°, and 76° or above. If the recorded temperature falls within any of these ranges, the corresponding market resolves to Yes, with all other markets resolving to No. All temperature data is subject to potential revision if a material error is identified by the Exchange, in which case the expiration may be extended until a corrected value is published or the expiration date passes. If no valid data is available by the expiration date, all markets resolve to the last fair price determined by the Exchange. The status of 'Final' on The Weather Company's platform does not guarantee data accuracy or exempt the data from revision under these rules.
