This event tracks whether specific temperature thresholds will be reached in San Diego on a particular day in the future. The outcome depends entirely on official weather data from a designated source, reflecting climate conditions rather than market predictions.
The event resolves based on the maximum temperature recorded in San Diego (CLISAN) on October 13, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Six distinct temperature ranges are defined, each corresponding to a separate market outcome. If the recorded temperature falls within any of these specified ranges, the associated market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. All markets share identical secondary rules regarding data verification and error handling. Preliminary data may be subject to rounding or conversion differences, and the Exchange reserves the right to delay resolution if a material error is identified in the initial publication. In such cases, resolution may be postponed until a corrected value is published or until the expiration date, whichever comes first. If no data remains available by the expiration date, all markets will resolve to the last fair price determined by the Exchange. The status of “Final” on The Weather Company’s platform is provided for convenience but does not guarantee data accuracy or exempt the data from potential revision under these rules.
