This set of markets focuses on predicting the highest temperature that will be recorded in Phoenix on a specific date in the future. The outcome depends entirely on official weather data from a designated source, making it a straightforward test of climatic conditions on that day.
These markets resolve based on the maximum temperature recorded in Phoenix on October 29, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Each market corresponds to a specific temperature range: 83° or below, 84-85°, 86-87°, 88-89°, 90-91°, and 92° or above. The market for the actual temperature range achieved will resolve to Yes, with all others resolving to No. All markets share consistent secondary rules regarding data verification and error handling. Preliminary data may be subject to rounding or conversion differences, and The Weather Company’s final reported value is the official determinant. If a material error is identified in the initial publication before the market’s expiration, the resolution may be delayed until a corrected value is released or until the expiration date, whichever comes first. If no valid data exists by the expiration date, all markets resolve to the last fair price determined by the exchange. The “Final” status on The Weather Company’s platform is informational only and does not guarantee data accuracy or exempt the market from these error-resolution procedures.
