This event tracks the highest temperature reached in Philadelphia on a specific date in 2026. Outcomes depend on whether the recorded peak temperature falls within certain degree ranges, reflecting potential weather conditions for that day.
The event resolves based on the maximum temperature recorded in Philadelphia on September 11, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Six distinct temperature ranges are defined, each corresponding to a separate market outcome. If the temperature is 78°F or lower, the first market resolves to Yes. If it falls between 79°F and 80°F, the second market resolves to Yes, and this pattern continues for subsequent markets covering ranges of 81°F-82°F, 83°F-84°F, and 85°F-86°F. The final market resolves to Yes if the temperature exceeds 86°F. All markets use The Weather Company as the sole source for official data. Preliminary readings may be subject to rounding or conversion differences, and the Exchange reserves the right to delay resolution if a material error is identified in the initial data publication. If data remains unavailable by the expiration date, all markets resolve to the last fair price determined by the Exchange. The "Final" status on The Weather Company’s platform is informational and does not guarantee data accuracy or exempt markets from potential adjustments.
