This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Paris-Le Bourget Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 8 Jun '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Paris-Le Bourget Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/fr/bonneuil-en-france/LFPB. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
Prediction market odds reflect aggregated trader beliefs and often diverge from traditional meteorological forecasts. While weather analysts issue deterministic temperature predictions based on atmospheric models, prediction markets price uncertainty across a range of outcomes. Comparing Polymarket odds to official forecasts from Météo-France or similar services can reveal whether traders expect warmer or cooler conditions than consensus models suggest, and how much uncertainty the market is pricing into the June 8 forecast.
The market resolves on Jun 8, 2026, after June 8 concludes. The outcome is determined by the highest temperature officially recorded in Paris on that date. Resolution relies on verified meteorological data from recognized weather stations or official sources covering Paris. Once the final temperature is confirmed, the corresponding outcome contract is settled at 1 and all others at 0, distributing winnings to holders of the correct outcome.
Major weather pattern shifts, updated seasonal forecasts, and atmospheric anomalies can significantly move odds. Heat waves, cold fronts, or changes in jet stream positioning over Europe in the weeks leading to June 8 will influence trader expectations. Real-time weather model updates, particularly from major forecasting centers, often trigger repricing. Additionally, historical temperature records for early June in Paris and broader climate trends may prompt traders to adjust positions as new meteorological data emerges closer to the event date.
