This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
The market resolves on Jun 2, 2026, after the highest temperature in Paris on June 2 has been recorded and verified. Resolution depends on official temperature data for that date, typically sourced from recognized meteorological authorities. The outcome is determined by which temperature range or threshold the actual recorded high falls into, as specified in the market's outcome criteria. Once the event occurs and data is confirmed, the market settles and traders receive payouts based on their positions.
Major weather pattern shifts, seasonal forecasts, and atmospheric pressure systems over Europe can significantly move odds. Updated meteorological models released in the days before June 2 will influence trader expectations. Heat waves or cold fronts affecting Western Europe, changes in solar activity predictions, and real-time temperature trends in late May serve as key signals. Breaking weather alerts, climate anomalies, or shifts in jet stream positioning could trigger rapid repricing as traders adjust their temperature expectations for Paris on that specific day.
