Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect aggregated trader expectations and can be compared against meteorological forecasts and climate models from organizations like NOAA or the Panama Meteorological Institute. Prediction markets often incorporate real-time information and trader expertise, while analyst forecasts rely on historical climate data and seasonal patterns. Divergences between market odds and official forecasts may signal either market inefficiency or emerging weather signals not yet reflected in traditional models. Tracking both sources provides a fuller picture of temperature expectations.
