This event tracks the highest temperature recorded in Newark on a specific date in the future, using data from a designated weather provider. The outcome depends entirely on the official temperature reading reported by The Weather Company for that day.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the maximum temperature recorded at Newark Liberty International Airport (CLIEWR) on September 28, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Six separate temperature ranges are defined, each corresponding to a specific market outcome. If the temperature falls within any of these ranges, the associated market resolves to Yes; all others resolve to No. All markets share identical secondary rules regarding data verification and error handling. Preliminary data may be subject to revision, and the Exchange reserves the right to delay expiration if material errors are identified in initial reports. If final data remains unavailable by the expiration date, markets will resolve based on the last fair price determined by the Exchange.
