The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Munich Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/de/munich/EDDM. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
The market resolves on Jun 7, 2026, after the highest temperature in Munich on June 7 has been recorded and verified. Resolution depends on official temperature data for that date, typically sourced from a recognized meteorological authority. The outcome is determined by the single highest temperature reading during the calendar day in Munich, measured in degrees Celsius. Once the official figure is published and confirmed, the market settles to the corresponding outcome bracket, and traders receive payouts based on their positions.
Major weather pattern shifts, updated seasonal forecasts, and atmospheric pressure systems over Central Europe are key catalysts. A sudden warming trend or cold front approaching Munich in early June would shift odds significantly. Real-time weather model updates from major forecasters, changes in solar activity, and anomalies in jet-stream positioning can trigger repricing. Additionally, historical temperature records for early June in Munich and recent climate data may influence trader positioning. As June 7 approaches, daily weather updates and short-range forecasts become increasingly influential on market prices.
