Prediction market odds reflect real-money trader conviction and often incorporate meteorological forecasts, climate models, and seasonal patterns. Analyst forecasts from weather services typically focus on deterministic temperature ranges, while markets price uncertainty and tail risks. Comparing Polymarket odds to official weather agency predictions for Milan in mid-June can reveal whether traders are pricing in above-average or below-average temperatures relative to historical norms and current seasonal expectations.

The market resolves on Jun 12, 2026. Resolution is determined by the highest temperature recorded in Milan on June 12, typically sourced from official meteorological data. The specific outcome that wins depends on which temperature bin or threshold bracket the actual high falls into. Once the day concludes and official readings are confirmed, the market settles and winnings are distributed to holders of the correct outcome.

Major weather pattern shifts, updated seasonal forecasts, and atmospheric pressure systems over Europe can significantly move odds. Heat waves, cold fronts, or anomalous jet stream positioning in early June would alter trader expectations. Real-time weather model runs, especially those released in the final week before June 12, often trigger sharp repricing. Historical temperature records for Milan in mid-June and any unusual climate events in the preceding weeks may also influence market sentiment and probability adjustments.
