The market resolves on Jun 1, 2026, after the highest temperature in Manila on June 1 has been recorded and verified. The outcome is determined by official temperature data for that day, establishing which outcome contract holders predicted correctly. Resolution depends on accurate measurement and reporting from reliable meteorological sources. Once the final high temperature is confirmed, the market settles and winning positions are paid out accordingly.
Several factors could shift market odds before June 1. Updated seasonal weather patterns and monsoon forecasts from meteorological agencies will influence trader expectations. Real-time atmospheric data, ocean temperature anomalies, and tropical system activity in the region can trigger repricing. Historical temperature trends for early June in Manila provide a baseline, but any unusual weather systems developing in late May could prompt significant market movement. Traders continuously incorporate new climate data to adjust their positions on expected high temperatures.
