Several factors could shift odds for Madrid's peak temperature on June 4. Major weather pattern changes, such as high-pressure systems or heat waves moving into Spain, would increase probabilities for higher temperatures. Seasonal climate anomalies, El Niño or La Niña effects, and updated long-range forecasts from meteorological agencies can trigger significant repricing. Real-time weather updates closer to June 4 will have outsized impact as uncertainty narrows. Traders also react to historical temperature records for that date and broader European heat trends, making this event sensitive to both macro climate signals and near-term forecast revisions.
