Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect real-money bets from traders and reflect dynamic, crowd-sourced expectations. Traditional analyst forecasts from meteorological services tend to rely on historical climate data and seasonal models. Market odds often incorporate breaking weather patterns and recent atmospheric shifts faster than static forecasts. Comparing the two reveals whether traders are pricing in more optimistic or pessimistic temperature scenarios than official weather models suggest for Madrid on June 11.

The market resolves on Jun 11, 2026. Resolution is determined by the actual highest temperature recorded in Madrid on June 11. The outcome is typically verified against official meteorological data from recognized weather stations or national climate authorities. Once the day concludes and the peak temperature is confirmed, the market settles according to which outcome bracket or threshold the recorded temperature falls into, and traders' positions are paid out accordingly.

Major weather pattern shifts, such as high-pressure systems moving into the Iberian Peninsula or unexpected heat waves, could significantly move odds. Updated seasonal forecasts from meteorological agencies and real-time atmospheric data releases may trigger repricing. Proximity to the event date itself often increases volatility as traders react to short-term weather models. Historical temperature anomalies, climate indices like the North Atlantic Oscillation, and any unusual solar activity could also influence market expectations for Madrid's peak temperature on June 11.
