The market resolves on Jun 5, 2026, after the highest temperature recorded in Lucknow on June 5 is finalized. Resolution depends on official temperature data for that date. Traders should monitor weather station readings and meteorological authority reports as the event date nears. The specific threshold or temperature range that determines the winning outcome will be confirmed by the market's resolution criteria at settlement.
Several factors could shift odds before June 5. Seasonal weather pattern updates from meteorological agencies, monsoon onset timing, and atmospheric pressure systems affecting northern India may influence trader expectations. Real-time forecasts issued in the days leading up to June 5 will likely trigger significant price moves. Additionally, historical temperature anomalies, urban heat island effects specific to Lucknow, and any unusual climate events reported in late May could prompt traders to reassess the probability of extreme heat on the resolution date.
