Description

This event tracks the highest temperature reached in Louisville on a specific date in the future, using data from a designated weather provider. Participants can assess various temperature ranges to predict weather conditions for that day.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the maximum temperature recorded in Louisville (CLISDF) on September 23, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Six distinct temperature ranges are defined, each corresponding to a separate market outcome. If the temperature falls within a specific range, the associated market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. All markets share common secondary rules regarding data verification and error handling. Preliminary data may be subject to rounding or conversion differences, and The Weather Company’s final reported value is the official determinant. If a material error is identified in the initial publication before the expiration date, the resolution may be delayed until a corrected value is released or until the expiration date arrives. If no data remains available by the expiration date, all markets will resolve to the last fair price determined by the exchange. The “Final” status on The Weather Company’s platform is informational and does not guarantee data accuracy or exempt the event from these error-resolution procedures.
