The event resolves based on the maximum temperature recorded in Los Angeles (CLILAX) on September 3, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Six separate markets cover distinct temperature ranges: 71° or below, 72-73°, 74-75°, 76-77°, 78-79°, and 80° or above. If the recorded temperature falls within a specific range, the corresponding market resolves to Yes, with all others resolving to No. Preliminary data may be subject to rounding or conversion differences, and The Exchange retains discretion to address material errors in initial publications. If data remains unavailable by the expiration date, markets resolve to the last fair price determined by Kalshi.
