Comparing the market's implied temperature range to UK Met Office or other weather services can reveal where traders diverge from official predictions, highlighting either market inefficiency or emerging data that analysts have not yet fully weighted.

The market resolves on May 27, 2026, after the highest temperature in London on May 27 has been recorded and verified. Resolution is determined by the actual observed maximum temperature on that date, measured according to standard meteorological protocols. Once the official reading is confirmed, the contract corresponding to the correct temperature outcome is settled at full value, and all other outcomes expire worthless. Traders should monitor official weather station data as the event date approaches.

Major weather pattern shifts, seasonal forecasts, and atmospheric pressure systems will drive price movements leading up to May 27. Changes in long-range weather models from meteorological agencies, unexpected heat waves or cold fronts, and shifts in jet stream positioning can all alter trader expectations. Additionally, historical temperature anomalies, climate data releases, and real-time weather updates closer to the event date will influence odds. Traders should track UK weather forecasts and European weather systems that may impact London's temperature on that specific day.
