This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the London City Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 6 Jun '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the London City Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/gb/london/EGLC. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
The market resolves on Jun 6, 2026, after the highest temperature in London on June 6 is recorded. The outcome is determined by official temperature data for that date, establishing which temperature threshold or range was actually reached. Resolution occurs once verified meteorological records are available, confirming the final result. Traders should monitor official weather station data and any platform-specific resolution criteria to understand how the exact temperature will be mapped to the available market outcomes.
Major weather pattern shifts, seasonal forecasts, and atmospheric pressure systems can significantly move odds for London's June 6 temperature. Updated medium-range forecasts from meteorological agencies, changes in jet stream positioning, or anomalies in sea-surface temperatures may alter trader expectations. Broader climate indices—such as the North Atlantic Oscillation or solar activity—can influence European weather. As June approaches, increasingly precise forecasts will narrow uncertainty and drive price convergence. Real-time weather data, model consensus updates, and any unusual atmospheric events will be key catalysts for odds movement on Polymarket.
