The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the London City Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/gb/london/EGLC. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
The market resolves on Jun 5, 2026, after the highest temperature in London on June 5 has been recorded. Resolution is determined by official temperature data for that date, establishing which outcome bracket the actual peak temperature falls into. Once the event concludes and data is confirmed, the market settles automatically, and traders' positions are credited or debited based on the final outcome. This ensures all positions are resolved fairly and transparently.
Key signals include updated seasonal weather forecasts, atmospheric pressure systems, jet stream positioning, and historical temperature patterns for early June in London. Major weather events—such as heat waves forming over continental Europe or cold fronts moving in—can shift market odds significantly. Long-range climate indices and real-time meteorological updates will influence trader expectations. As June 5 approaches, short-term forecasts become more reliable, typically triggering sharper price movements as uncertainty narrows and the market converges on the actual outcome.
