The market resolves at Jun 8, 2026, after the highest temperature in Kuala Lumpur on June 8 has been recorded. The outcome is determined by official temperature data for that specific date and location. Resolution depends on which temperature threshold the actual recorded high falls into, based on the market's predefined outcome categories. Once the day concludes and verified temperature readings are available, the market settles according to the outcome that occurred, and traders' positions are paid out accordingly.
Several factors could shift market odds before Jun 8, 2026. Monsoon activity and rainfall patterns in Southeast Asia directly influence daily temperatures in Kuala Lumpur. Updates from meteorological agencies about pressure systems, tropical storms, or heat waves could trigger significant price moves. Seasonal climate anomalies, including El Niño or La Niña conditions, may be priced in as new data emerges. Historical temperature records for early June in Kuala Lumpur provide baseline expectations. Real-time weather forecasts released closer to June 8 will likely drive the most dramatic odds adjustments as traders refine their predictions based on the most current atmospheric conditions.
