The market resolves on Jun 6, 2026, after the highest temperature in Karachi on June 6 has been recorded and verified. Resolution depends on official meteorological data from a designated weather authority or data provider that tracks Karachi's daily maximum temperature. Once the actual peak temperature is confirmed, the outcome is determined by comparing it against the predefined thresholds in the market contract. Traders who backed the correct temperature bracket receive their payout based on the final settlement.
Major weather systems, monsoon onset timing, and atmospheric pressure patterns over South Asia could significantly shift odds. Updated meteorological forecasts from regional weather services will influence trader positioning as June 6 approaches. Heat waves or unusual cold fronts in the weeks leading up to the date may prompt market repricing. Urban heat island effects and local pollution levels in Karachi can also impact daily maxima. Real-time weather alerts, seasonal climate anomalies, and model consensus changes will drive trading activity and adjust market probabilities closer to resolution.
