On Polymarket, the highest temperature in Karachi on June 2 is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into implied probabilities for each outcome bracket. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares representing temperature ranges, and the price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about which range will occur. As new weather data, seasonal patterns, or climate signals emerge, traders adjust positions, moving prices in real time. The spread between bid and ask prices indicates market confidence and liquidity depth.
The market resolves on Jun 2, 2026, after the highest temperature in Karachi on June 2 has been recorded and verified. The outcome is determined by the actual maximum temperature observed in Karachi on that date. Resolution depends on reliable temperature data from an official meteorological source. Once the final temperature is confirmed, the market settles automatically, and winning shares are paid out according to which outcome bracket contains the recorded high.
Several factors could shift odds before June 2. Seasonal weather pattern updates, monsoon onset timing, and atmospheric pressure systems over South Asia will influence trader expectations. Real-time meteorological alerts, heat wave warnings, or anomalous climate data could trigger sharp price moves. Historical temperature records for early June in Karachi provide a baseline, but any deviation in global or regional climate patterns may prompt repricing. As the event date approaches, updated weather models and short-term forecasts will increasingly drive market activity and odds adjustments.
