The event resolves based on the maximum temperature recorded in Houston (CLIHOU) on October 3, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Six separate markets correspond to different temperature ranges: 81° or below, 82-83°, 84-85°, 86-87°, 88-89°, and 90° or above. Each market resolves to Yes if the recorded temperature falls within its specified range. All markets share common secondary rules regarding data verification and error handling. Preliminary data may be subject to rounding or conversion differences, and The Weather Company’s final reported value is the official determinant. If the Exchange identifies a material error in the initial publication, the expiration may be delayed until a corrected value is released or until the expiration date. If no data remains available by the expiration date, all markets resolve to the last fair price determined by Kalshi.
