The market resolves on Jun 3, 2026, after the highest temperature in Guangzhou on June 3 has been officially recorded. The outcome is determined by the actual peak temperature measurement on that date, typically sourced from recognized meteorological authorities or official weather stations in Guangzhou. Once the final reading is confirmed, the market settles according to which outcome bracket or threshold the recorded temperature matches.
Major weather pattern shifts, tropical cyclone activity, or monsoon onset timing could significantly move odds for Guangzhou's June 3 high temperature. Updated seasonal forecasts from meteorological agencies, real-time atmospheric pressure changes, and sea surface temperature anomalies in the South China Sea will influence trader positioning. As June approaches, daily weather model runs become more precise, and any unusual heat waves or cold fronts affecting southern China could trigger sharp repricing of temperature expectations on Polymarket.
