The event resolves based on the maximum temperature recorded in Chicago (CLIMDW) on September 27, 2026, as reported by The Weather Company. Six separate temperature ranges are defined, each corresponding to a different market outcome. If the temperature falls within any of the specified ranges—from 66°F or below up to 75°F or above—the associated market resolves to Yes. All markets use The Weather Company as the sole source for official data, with recognition that preliminary readings may differ from final values due to rounding or conversion. The Exchange retains discretion to delay resolution if a material error is identified in the initial data publication, allowing time for correction or proceeding to the Expiration Date. If data remains unavailable by the end of the evaluation period, markets resolve to the last fair price determined by Kalshi. The "Final" status on The Weather Company’s platform is informational and does not guarantee immunity from data revisions or errors.
