The current odds and 24-hour volume on this event are visible on the platform's order book, allowing traders to assess liquidity and conviction around each temperature scenario.
The Highest temperature in Atlanta on June 5 market resolves on Jun 5, 2026, after the actual high temperature for that day is recorded. Resolution is determined by official weather data for Atlanta, typically sourced from the National Weather Service or a designated meteorological authority. Once the day concludes and the final high temperature is confirmed, the market settles to the outcome that matches the recorded value. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The exact resolution criteria and data source are specified in the market's terms.
Several factors could shift odds for Atlanta's June 5 high temperature. Major weather pattern changes—such as a cold front, heat dome, or tropical system—would be reflected in updated meteorological models and trigger trader repositioning. Seasonal climate anomalies, El Niño or La Niña conditions, and historical temperature records for early June in Atlanta all influence expectations. Real-time weather updates, model consensus shifts, and breaking news about atmospheric conditions in the days leading up to June 5 will drive trading activity. Additionally, as the event date approaches, increased forecast certainty typically narrows the range of plausible outcomes and concentrates liquidity around the most likely temperature band.
