Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional meteorological forecasts because they incorporate real-time trader behavior, media attention, and uncertainty pricing. While weather analysts publish point estimates and confidence intervals based on atmospheric models, this market aggregates the views of many participants with financial incentives to be accurate. Comparing the implied probabilities here to published forecasts from national weather services can reveal where traders are more bullish or bearish on extreme temperatures, offering a complementary perspective on June 16's expected conditions in Ankara.

The market uses an automated market maker to ensure continuous liquidity, so you can enter or exit positions at any time before the event concludes. Prices move dynamically as new information arrives—updated weather models, seasonal patterns, or real-time atmospheric data—allowing the market to reprice the likelihood of different temperature scenarios throughout the trading window.

This market resolves around Jun 16, 2026, once the highest temperature recorded in Ankara on June 16 is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the actual meteorological reading from that date, confirmed through official weather station data or recognized climate monitoring agencies. Until that point, traders can adjust their positions based on forecasts, historical patterns, and any emerging atmospheric signals that might influence the final temperature.

Major weather pattern shifts, updated seasonal forecasts, and real-time atmospheric data releases will likely drive price movements in this market. Heat waves, changes in jet stream positioning, or anomalies in regional air pressure systems could all signal higher or lower temperatures for June 16 in Ankara. Additionally, historical climate data, El Niño or La Niña conditions, and even geopolitical or volcanic events affecting atmospheric composition may influence trader expectations. As the date approaches, daily weather model updates will become increasingly important catalysts for repricing.
