The market resolves on Jun 1, 2026, after the highest temperature recorded in Ankara on June 1 is finalized. Resolution depends on official temperature data from a designated meteorological source for Ankara on that date. Once the peak temperature is confirmed, the outcome contract matching that result is marked correct, and traders holding winning shares receive their payout. The exact measurement methodology and data source are specified in the market's terms to ensure transparent and objective settlement.
Several factors could shift market odds before June 1. Seasonal weather pattern updates, atmospheric pressure systems moving toward Turkey, and long-range climate forecasts from meteorological agencies may trigger repricing. El Niño or La Niña conditions, volcanic activity affecting solar radiation, and regional heat waves in the Mediterranean could all influence expectations. Additionally, historical temperature anomalies for early June in Ankara and real-time weather model adjustments will likely drive trader behavior as the event date draws closer.
