Currently, the implied probability on Polymarket suggests a roughly 51.0% chance that Microstrategy will announce a Bitcoin purchase during the specified timeframe. This differs from simply looking at Bitcoin's spot price, as this market reflects beliefs about a *specific action* by a *specific company*. Spot price expectations are broader and represent the overall market sentiment towards Bitcoin itself. Therefore, this market provides a more focused prediction on Microstrategy’s behavior, independent of general crypto market trends.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price on Polymarket is determined by the forces of supply and demand, where traders actively buy 'yes' shares if they believe Microstrategy will announce a Bitcoin purchase between November 3rd and 9th, and 'no' shares if they think it won’t. This continuous auction format means the price constantly adjusts to reflect the prevailing sentiment. A higher price for 'yes' shares signifies increasing confidence in a purchase announcement, while a lower price indicates decreasing confidence. The current probability, as indicated by the price, is 51.0%.
This market resolves around Nov 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will depend on whether Microstrategy publicly announces a Bitcoin purchase between November 3rd and November 9th. Any official statement from Microstrategy, such as a press release or SEC filing, will serve as the basis for determining the outcome of this market. The resolution will be based on publicly available information, not internal data or unverified reports.
