Opinion
In the upcoming VCT best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-09-24 09:00 UTC: if Paper Rex wins the series, the market will resolve to "Paper Rex"; if Team Liquid wins the series, the market will resolve to "Team Liquid". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official VCT broadcast and https://valorantesports.com/; community coverage on vlr.gg may be used as a supplementary source. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Comparing prediction market odds to analyst forecasts reveals how collective intelligence differs from expert opinion. Often, this market demonstrates a different perspective than pre-match predictions from analysts, potentially incorporating a wider range of factors and real-time information. Discrepancies can arise from differing methodologies or the market’s ability to rapidly adjust to new information, such as team form or player availability. It’s valuable to consider both sources when evaluating the likely outcome of the Team Liquid vs Paper Rex match.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the outcome of the Team Liquid vs Paper Rex match. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe a particular outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise. This dynamic pricing mechanism creates a constantly updated forecast based on the wisdom of the crowd.
This market resolves around Sep 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Team Liquid vs Paper Rex match, as declared by the tournament organizers. The platform will then verify the result against these sources to determine which outcome resolves as correct and distribute payouts accordingly. Traders will be able to see the final result and settlement details on Opinion following the event’s conclusion.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, team roster changes, or strategic shifts could impact the perceived likelihood of either team winning. Unexpected results in preceding matches, or even commentary from prominent figures in the esports scene, could also influence trader sentiment. Furthermore, in-game performance during the match itself, such as early map wins or dominant individual plays, could cause rapid adjustments to the odds on Opinion.
