Opinion
In the upcoming Worlds best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-10-23 22:10 UTC: if CTBC Flying Oyster wins the series, the market will resolve to "CTBC Flying Oyster"; if Team Liquid wins the series, the market will resolve to "Team Liquid". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official Worlds broadcast and https://lolesports.com. Note: Opinion will resolve this market strictly based on the first final result officially published or announced by a designated resolution source. Any subsequent revision, correction, or reversal will not affect the resolution.

Generally, prediction market odds often offer a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. Analysts frequently rely on subjective assessments and pre-match analysis, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to make accurate predictions. If analysts widely favor one team, but the market shows a more balanced outlook, it could indicate traders believe the analysts are overlooking key factors. Discrepancies between the two can highlight potentially undervalued or overvalued outcomes, offering opportunities for informed decision-making.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes of the Team Liquid vs CTBC Flying Oyster match. The price of each contract reflects the current supply and demand, and thus the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders adjust their bids and asks based on new information, their own analysis, and their expectations of how others will react, leading to dynamic price discovery. This creates a real-time assessment of the event’s potential results.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
