This market will resolve to "Up" if the SPCX/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the SPCX/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the SPCX/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/spcx-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink SPCX/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-23T13:30:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds offer a unique perspective compared to traditional spot price expectations. While spot prices reflect immediate market conditions, this market aggregates the beliefs of informed traders regarding the likelihood of a price increase or decrease within a specific timeframe. Discrepancies between prediction market probabilities and spot price forecasts can highlight areas of disagreement or uncertainty, potentially signaling undervalued or overvalued assets. Analyzing these differences can provide valuable insights for traders and investors seeking to refine their strategies.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the SPCX price movement. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a real-time probability assessment. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the collective wisdom of the crowd, weighted by the amount of capital each trader is willing to risk. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows for efficient discovery of market sentiment and provides a transparent indication of expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the SPCX price moved up or down between 9:30 AM and 9:45 AM ET on October 23rd. The final price movement will be determined by comparing the price at the start and end of that 15-minute window, and will be verified against reliable financial data sources. Traders will then be paid out based on whether their predictions aligned with the actual price direction.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before Oct 23, 2026. Unexpected news regarding the SPCX itself, such as announcements about new partnerships, technological advancements, or regulatory changes, could influence trader sentiment. Broader market trends in the cryptocurrency space, including shifts in Bitcoin or Ethereum prices, could also have an impact. Additionally, macroeconomic factors like inflation data or interest rate decisions could indirectly affect the SPCX price and, consequently, the probabilities reflected in this market. Monitoring these factors will be crucial for understanding potential price swings.
