This market will resolve to "Up" if the SKHYNIX/USDT price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than the price at the beginning of that range. It will resolve to "Down" if the SKHYNIX/USDT price at the end of the time range is lower than the price at the beginning of that range. If the two prices are exactly equal, the market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is Chainlink, specifically the SKHYNIX/USDT data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/skhynix-usdt-markpriceindex-datalink?timeframe=1d&chart=candlestick To verify the final price, use the close price of the 5m candlestick just before the market's end time. For example, for a market running from 1:00 to 1:15 PM ET, use the close price of the 1:10 PM candlestick as the final price. The resolution source uses the index price (field i) from Binance's USDS-Margined Futures Mark Price Stream for All Markets (!markPrice@arr), denominated in the quote currency. This market is based solely on the price reported by the Chainlink SKHYNIX/USDT data stream, not on other sources or futures markets. If Chainlink data is unavailable or otherwise unusable for resolution, the market will resolve based on a consensus of reliable sources. 2026-10-21T00:30:00Z

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts may base their predictions on financial models and company reports, this market incorporates the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders. This can lead to discrepancies, as traders may weigh factors not typically considered by analysts, such as short-term market sentiment or unexpected news events. It’s common to see the market odds diverge from the consensus view of financial experts, offering a potentially valuable alternative indicator.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the SK Hynix stock will close higher or lower by the specified time. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective probability assigned to each outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price effectively represents the market’s expectation of the stock’s future performance, providing a dynamic and real-time assessment of potential price movements. Traders adjust their positions based on new information and evolving sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on whether the SK Hynix stock price closed higher or lower between 8:30 PM and 8:45 PM Eastern Time on October 20th. The final price will be determined by publicly available data from a recognized financial exchange, ensuring a transparent and objective outcome. Traders will then be paid out based on their holdings and the final result.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before its resolution. Major news regarding SK Hynix, such as earnings reports, product announcements, or changes in leadership, would likely have a substantial impact. Broader economic indicators, particularly those related to the semiconductor industry or global economic growth, could also influence trader sentiment. Unexpected geopolitical events or shifts in market risk appetite could also contribute to price fluctuations. Any information that alters the perceived future prospects of SK Hynix has the potential to move this market.
