In the upcoming VCT best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-09-17 21:10 UTC: if FlyQuest RED wins the series, the market will resolve to "FlyQuest RED"; if Shopify Rebellion Gold wins the series, the market will resolve to "Shopify Rebellion Gold". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official VCT broadcast and https://valorantesports.com/; community coverage on vlr.gg may be used as a supplementary source. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Comparing prediction market odds to analyst forecasts reveals how collective intelligence differs from expert opinions. Often, this market demonstrates a different perspective than traditional sports analysts, potentially incorporating a wider range of factors and real-time information. While analysts may focus on team statistics and player performance, the prediction market reflects the wisdom of the crowd, factoring in less quantifiable elements like momentum and public sentiment. Discrepancies can highlight overlooked aspects or biases in either approach, offering a more nuanced understanding of the likely outcome.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more traders bet on a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice-versa. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market odds are constantly updated to reflect the latest information and collective beliefs of the participants. The goal is for the market price to converge towards the true probability of each outcome.
This market resolves around Sep 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be based on the official outcome of the Shopify Rebellion Gold vs FlyQuest RED match. The platform will verify the results against reliable sources to ensure accuracy and fairness. Traders who correctly predicted the outcome will receive a payout based on the final market prices at the time of resolution. It’s important to monitor the event closely as it approaches the resolution date.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before it resolves. Unexpected player announcements, changes in team strategies, or even significant news regarding team morale could all influence trading activity. Strong performance in preceding matches or a shift in public perception could also drive changes in the odds. Any unforeseen circumstances impacting the teams’ ability to compete, such as injuries or travel disruptions, would likely cause substantial movement in this market. Monitoring these factors is key to understanding potential shifts in the perceived probabilities.
